State conference draws more than 250 women
LANSING, Mich. – More than 250 women leaders from Michigan’s colleges and universities attended an annual state conference to discuss leadership strategies, professional development and the future of higher education.
The Michigan ACE (American Council on Education) Network for Women Leaders in Higher Education was held June 8-9 in Lansing. Hosted by Central Michigan University, the theme of the conference is “Our Journeys: Pathways to Potential.”
The Michigan ACE Network was established in 1978. Membership is open to all public and private, two- and four-year institutions in the state. The chapter is conducted in cooperation with the Office of Women in Higher Education of the American Council on Education.

Join faculty, staff, and administrators from around Michigan to help to frame the future for women in higher education while celebrating our diverse journeys! The 2009 annual State Conference of the Michigan American Council on Education Network for Women Leaders in Higher Education will be held June 8-9, 2009, at the James B. Henry Center for Executive Development.
About the Conference:
This dynamic conference provides an opportunity for women leaders from every facet of higher education to come together and explore issues that are relevant to women. Conference tracks include:
